Veteran Material Handling Specialists Expand Benetech, Inc.’s Capabilities
Benetech, Inc. has announced the addition of two highly seasoned material handling experts who will further enhance the company’s service and solutions for bulk material handlers.
New Southeast Director of Sales David Wood is a 19-year industry professional with a strong background in conveyors, engineering transfer systems, vibratory feeders and screens, bin vibrators, screw conveyors, bucket elevators and underground conveying systems. He also has extensive experience in operations and sales for the iron and steel industry. Other industries he has served include aggregates, coal mines, coal-fired power generation, marine terminals, pulp and paper, glass, cement, fertilizer, industrial wood pellet, and grain.
Before joining Benetech, Mr. Wood had served as a senior applications specialist, a position in which he applied his consultative and technical selling skills to serve customers and creatively solve their challenges. Mr. Wood will be overseeing bulk material–handling activity in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
New Account Manager Bruce McMurray enhances the Benetech team with more than 35 years in belt cleaning, tracking, loading and dust management. His proficiency in industries such as power generation, steelmaking, glass manufacturing, grain handling and shipping ports fortifies the company’s consistent efforts to diversify.
Before being welcomed at Benetech, Mr. McMurray had been an applications specialist with a focus on conveyor belt transfers. As Benetech’s Account Manager, he will oversee activity in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky and western Michigan.
