Nitta Makes Ongoing Enhancements to U.S. Facility and Product Lines

9/12/2019

Following its 2017 expansion, Nitta Corporation of America (NCA) has continued to make enhancements within its Suwanee, GA facility, bringing new benefits to Nitta’s customers throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Recent upgrades – including an additional rubber extruder, new Rotocure and new presses – have resulted in significantly increased production capacity for Nitta’s truly American-made product lines, which now include select materials within the PolySprint™ category. For the first time, Nitta has been able to bring production of PolySprint™ finger-splice belting to the U.S., where it joins Nitta’s PolyBelt™ nylon core and Carryflex™ aramid cord belting on the list of products Nitta can proudly say are “Made in the USA.”

Beyond improvements to production, NCA has made a substantial investment in the education of its customers and personnel with the completion this past July of its brand new state-of-the-art on-site training center. With this expansive dedicated meeting space, NCA can now easily host product training seminars and other events for up to several dozen attendees at a time.

Alongside these factory-focused efforts, NCA has continued with carrying out its core mission of developing new products and bringing “The Nitta Advantage” to new markets. Recent introductions to the Carryflex™ (CFTG) and PolySprint™ product lines – including CFTG-40FS-5.0, CFTG-60SG and the SNTC series – have made Nitta the belt of choice in many distribution centers in the ever-growing Logistics industry.
