Continental’s New Sales Leader for Western US Region

Continental’s Industrial Solutions Americas (IAM) is pleased to announce that Adrian Mercado is the new Regional Sales Manager for the West Region. He steps into the role previously held by Marty Harrelson, who recently retired after many years of dedicated service. Adrian has been with Continental since 2014, and most recently served as Head of Distribution for Mexico. In his new role, Adrian will grow Continental’s Industrial Air Springs, Conveying Solutions, Fluid Handling Solutions, and Power Transmission Solutions in his region. Mercado will relocate to his home state of California. 

Continental’s New Head of Product Management  

Bernhard Kassens has been named the Head of Product Management for Continental’s Industrial Solutions Americas (IAM) business area. He will lead the development, strategy, and execution of the region’s product portfolio. Originally from Germany, his most recent role was Managing Director of ContiTech UK Ltd., responsible for a manufacturing location of power transmission belts and the industrial sales organization in the United Kingdom. Kassens has relocated from Europe to Northeast Ohio for his new role.
