Belt Concepts of America has developed a new rage of non-woven needled belts for use in package handling applications. The polyester fleece carcass is saturated with a flame retardant and antistatic PKG compound and reinforced with a strong scrim that provides excellent lace retention. Some of the many advantages of the Belt Concepts needled construction are that that it provides a constant coefficient of friction, the edges are less likely to fray, excellent tracking properties and low noise at high speeds. The belts are available in various surface finishes and covers, including embossed/pebble, longitudinal grove, rough top, smooth finish and more.
